RE:LEAF Programme
Green infrastructure and open environments: The all London green grid. Supplementary planning guidance, published by the Mayor of London in March 2012, states that: ‘The Forestry Commission and the Mayor of London are working together to improve the trees and woodlands of London. The RE:LEAF Programme promotes tree planting across the city and also includes a volunteering programme and Community Grant Scheme. It is part of the Government’s The Big Tree Plant, a campaign that encourages people and communities to plant more trees in England’s towns, cities and neighbourhoods.’
